About The RWMP

The 2021-2040 Comprehensive Regional Water Management Plan is a cooperative approach for stewardship of the region’s water resources through developing and implementing an integrated water resources plan, building understanding and trust among stakeholders, and establishing water resources public policy. The Plan facilitates a unified and cooperative effort for water resource planning in the Truckee Meadows region. The RWMP is collaborative in nature and encourages cooperative engagement between the WRWC member agencies, NNWPC members, and local and regional government planning agencies for implementation.
